The purpose of the AFRI program is to providefunding for “fundamental and applied research, education, and extensionprojects in the food and agricultural sciences.” Projects funded through thisprogram are focused on transdisciplinary, converge approaches to address foodand agricultural system changes.
A logic model, and specified objectives andmetrics towards achieving the objectives need to be articulated. An externalevaluator is required.
